Grace McClure Johnson

PositionWide Receiver
Grace “McJohnson” is thrilled to play with the Minnesota Vixen. Grace played lacrosse in high school and college at the University of Montana for the school’s club team, and then post-college for Seattle Breakaway women’s team, winning many national and a couple world tournaments with them. She also coached and reffed lacrosse and loves to see kids fall in love with a sport. One thing Grace never liked about women’s lacrosse is that you aren’t allowed to body check. An avid football fan since she was little, Grace was always attracted to very physical sports and dreamed of playing but never found the right opportunity. She is thrilled to finally play a sport full contact just like boys get to and is honored to join the Vixen in their journey to the National Championship! In her other life Grace runs an organization that trains pastors and anyone on simple ways to lead church in your own home and being good to your neighbors. She is also a consultant for businesses of all kinds. Grace lives with her husband Jesse and their three young kids in Eastside St Paul.
