Brian Sweeney, CPAA, and an Inver Grove Heights, MN resident, has been announcing high school, college, semi-pro, and professional sports since 2014. His broadcasting degree is from Brown Institute in Minneapolis. Besides being the voice of the Minnesota Vixen at all home games since 2015 and color analyst on road games since 2019, he is also the play-by-play announcer for the Women’s Football Alliance Pro Division National Championship broadcast, and has a weekly video podcast during the season, Road to Canton. He can also be heard at Concordia University St Paul (football, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse), and The University of Minnesota (Women’s Ice Hockey, Volleyball, Soccer, Softball, Men’s Hockey). His Announcing resume also includes; The 2019 NCAA Women’s D3 Ice Hockey National Championships, being named the 2019-20 NASPAA High School P.A. Announcer of the Year, and winning a Telly Award for Road to Canton.
