Vixen Mini-Camp

 
The Minnesota Vixen host an annual female only football mini-camp. Women of all shapes and sizes, ages 18 and older, are welcome to participate in this unique on-field experience. The clinic offers a distinctive opportunity to learn and experience the game of football from on the field.  Don't worry, we will have Vixen coaches and players there to walk you through all of it. Our one-day camp includes actual on-the-field instruction. Attendees will learn about multiple positions on the field and participate in position-specific football drills.  While we won't be tackling each other, you will be hitting the bags! Mouth guards can be picked up at any local retailer (Walmart, Target, sporting goods store and can cost as little as $1.99). We recommend a boil-and-bite mouth guard.

      FAQs
  • Do we need any previous football experience? No. You don't need any previous experience playing football. We will take you through all the fundamentals step-by-step.
  • Do we need any special equipment? We do require a mouth guard which can be picked up at most retailers including Walmart and Target. We will not be tackling each other but we will have you hitting pads and taking them to the ground so a mouth guard is a must. Safety first! Beyond a mouth guard, you may want to wear molded cleats but gym shoes will work just fine.
